N-Joy Cafe
A small but cozy cafe/pub. Owned by the wife of an Aussie expat/retiree living here in Ubon. Nice place for some good Thai food, cold beer or other drinks and some good friendly conversation. Draws afternoon crowd but I am sure they would love if you could find your way over there in the evenings too. No scheduled public transportation passes N-Joy but you can easily drive there or take a tuk-tuk. You can find N-Joy on Palochai Rd. near the end. from town go past Tohsang City Hotel, past the prison, past "Big Cock Restaurant" and look to the right hand side. If you see a school or the river you've gone too far. Go check it out and tell 'em Darwin sent you.
